  • Author: chefcletus
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings
  • Diet: Pescatarian

Description

A simple yet elegant crab linguine that brings family together with its delightful mix of flavors.

Ingredients

  • Crab Meat: Fresh or canned
  • Linguine
  • Garlic: Fresh, minced
  • Olive Oil
  • Butter
  • Lemon: Fresh, juiced
  • Fresh Herbs: Chopped parsley and basil
  • Optional: Cherry tomatoes, chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add linguine and cook until ‘al dente’, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
  3. Add crab meat to the skillet with garlic, season with salt, pepper and optional chili flakes, and warm through.
  4. Fold in drained linguine and add a splash of reserved pasta water to create a sauce, tossing everything to coat.
  5. Finish with fresh lemon juice and herbs, toss again, and serve immediately.

Notes

Fresh ingredients yield the best flavors. Adjust the creaminess of the sauce with more lemon juice or butter if necessary.
