Description

Crispy wontons filled with a spicy buffalo chicken mixture, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, shred the cooked chicken and combine with cream cheese and buffalo sauce. Add green onions and mix until well-combined. Adjust seasoning as desired.
  2. Assemble the Wontons: Place a tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of a wonton wrapper. Wet the edges with water and fold to seal tightly.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Air-Fry the Wontons: Lightly spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray, arrange wontons in a single layer, and spray the tops with oil. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  5. Serve: Enjoy immediately with dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for best results. For extra crunch, spritz with oil before serving.
