Crispy wontons filled with a spicy buffalo chicken mixture, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 20 wonton wrappers
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, shred the cooked chicken and combine with cream cheese and buffalo sauce. Add green onions and mix until well-combined. Adjust seasoning as desired.
- Assemble the Wontons: Place a tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of a wonton wrapper. Wet the edges with water and fold to seal tightly.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for about 5 minutes.
- Air-Fry the Wontons: Lightly spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray, arrange wontons in a single layer, and spray the tops with oil. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- Serve: Enjoy immediately with dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for best results. For extra crunch, spritz with oil before serving.
