Description

A delightful sushi roll featuring a rich blend of crab, cream cheese, and avocado, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1 cup crab meat (real or imitation)
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 4 sheets nori (seaweed)
  • Soy sauce and wasabi for serving

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook according to package instructions and mix with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  2. Chop crab, cucumber, and avocado into thin strips. Combine crab with softened cream cheese.
  3. On a bamboo mat, lay a sheet of nori shiny side down. Wet hands and spread sushi rice over nori, leaving an inch at the top.
  4. Place fillings horizontally across the center, then roll tightly from the bottom using the mat.
  5. Slice the roll with a wet knife into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Arrange on a platter and serve with soy sauce and wasabi.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Avoid overstuffing your roll and be patient while rolling.
