A delightful gluten-free pizza crust made with almond flour, offering a nutty flavor and unique texture, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup cheese (mozzarella or blend)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the egg, then stir in salt and herbs.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the flour blend and mix until you form a dough.
  5. If the dough is too sticky, add water one tablespoon at a time until workable.
  6. Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to about 1/4 inch thick.
  7. Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet and pre-bake for about 10 minutes.
  8. Add your favorite toppings, then return to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. Let cool slightly, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

For vegan options, substitute cheese with a dairy-free option and use a flax egg instead of chicken egg.
