- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup cheese (mozzarella or blend)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Water (as needed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour and baking powder.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg, then stir in salt and herbs.
- Pour the egg mixture into the flour blend and mix until you form a dough.
- If the dough is too sticky, add water one tablespoon at a time until workable.
- Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet and pre-bake for about 10 minutes.
- Add your favorite toppings, then return to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Let cool slightly, slice, and enjoy!
