- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and milk until smooth; add the vanilla extract.
- Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop batter onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
Notes
Toss blueberries in a little flour before adding to the batter to prevent sinking.
