Description

Delightful little treats with melty brie and sweet tangy cranberries wrapped in flaky puff pastry.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 8 oz brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or sage)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the puff pastry by rolling it out on a floured surface and cutting into 4×4 inch squares.
  3. Cut the brie into ½ inch cubes and set aside.
  4. Place a spoonful of cranberry sauce in the center of each pastry square, then add a cube of brie and sprinkle with herbs.
  5. Wrap the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal.
  6. Brush with egg wash.
  7. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool for a minute before serving.

Notes

For a tangy twist, substitute brie with camembert or goat cheese. Use dried cranberries soaked in water if needed.
