Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Fresh Cranberries
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Thyme or Rosemary, chopped
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans or Walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cranberries by rinsing and draining them if fresh, or setting aside if using canned.
  3. Mix the cream cheese and minced garlic in a large bowl until smooth.
  4. Add in the chopped thyme or rosemary, stirring gently.
  5. Combine the cranberries, cheddar cheese, and nuts if using, mixing until incorporated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, smoothing it out evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  8. Serve warm with fresh bread or assorted crackers.

Notes

Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature before mixing to achieve a creamy texture. Avoid overbaking to prevent burning.
