  • Author: chefcletus
  • Total Time: 105 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings
  • Diet: Paleo

Description

A festive dish featuring juicy turkey wings coated in a tangy cranberry and pomegranate glaze, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Turkey wings
  • Fresh cranberries
  • Pomegranate juice
  • Honey
  • Garlic, minced
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh thyme
  • Fresh rosemary
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine fresh cranberries, pomegranate juice, honey, garlic, olive oil, herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the turkey wings in a roasting pan and pour the cranberry-pomegranate mixture over them, ensuring each wing is well coated.
  4. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  5. After an hour, remove the foil and let the wings roast for an additional 30 minutes, basting them with the juices every 10 minutes.
  6. Once golden and sizzling, remove from the oven and let rest for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute honey with maple syrup. Orange juice can be used instead of pomegranate juice for a different twist. Dried herbs can be substituted for fresh, but use less as they are more potent.
