Ingredients

  • Fresh turkey wings
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh pomegranate seeds

Instructions

  1. Prep the turkey wings by rinsing and patting them dry.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cranberry juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Mix until sugar dissolves.
  3. Marinate the wings in the mixture for at least 2 hours or overnight in the fridge.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  6. Arrange the marinated chicken wings in the dish, reserving leftover marinade.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. After 45 minutes, sprinkle pomegranate seeds and any reserved marinade over the wings, then increase the oven temperature to 400°F (204°C) and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  9. Let the wings rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Serve with seasonal sides like mashed potatoes or roasted Brussels sprouts for an ideal meal.
