- Fresh turkey wings
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- Olive oil
- Fresh pomegranate seeds
Instructions
- Prep the turkey wings by rinsing and patting them dry.
- In a large bowl, combine cranberry juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Mix until sugar dissolves.
- Marinate the wings in the mixture for at least 2 hours or overnight in the fridge.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Arrange the marinated chicken wings in the dish, reserving leftover marinade.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- After 45 minutes, sprinkle pomegranate seeds and any reserved marinade over the wings, then increase the oven temperature to 400°F (204°C) and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes.
- Let the wings rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with seasonal sides like mashed potatoes or roasted Brussels sprouts for an ideal meal.
