Description

Delicious Bakery-Style Oreo Muffins made with a rich chocolatey base and chunks of Oreos for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup oil or melted butter
  • 1 cup Oreos, broken into chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease the cups.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder, and sugar.
  4. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, and oil until smooth.
  5. Gradually blend the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in Oreo chunks, reserving some for topping.
  7. Scoop the batter into muffin cups, filling them about 2/3 full, and top with remaining Oreos.
  8. Bake for 18-22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
