A delightful fusion of banana split flavors and luscious ice cream cake, perfect for summer gatherings and family celebrations.
Ingredients
- Ice Cream (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and/or banana)
- Crushed Graham Crackers or Cookies
- Fresh Bananas (ripe)
- Whipped Cream
- Chocolate or Fudge Sauce
- Chopped Nuts (walnuts or pecans, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust by crushing the graham crackers or cookies and mixing with melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- Layer the ice cream by scooping your chosen flavors onto the crust, gently spreading each layer.
- Slice ripe bananas and layer them on top of the ice cream.
- Drizzle with chocolate or fudge sauce.
- Top with whipped cream and add additional drizzles of sauce and nuts if desired.
- Cover and freeze for several hours or overnight.
- When ready to serve, remove from freezer and let sit for a few minutes before slicing. Add extra toppings if desired.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free cookies for the crust. For a dairy-free option, replace whipped cream with whipped coconut cream.
