Delicious BBQ grilled prawns marinated in garlic, olive oil, and fresh herbs, perfect for summer cookouts.
Ingredients

- 1 lb large prawns, peeled and deveined
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, fresh herbs, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Whisk until blended.
- Toss the prawns in the marinade, coating them well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes. Skewer the prawns, leaving space between each.
- Grill the prawns for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and opaque.
- Remove from the grill and drizzle with fresh lemon juice and additional herbs for garnish.
- Serve with grilled vegetables or salad.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add extra chili flakes. Enjoy with sides like rice or garlic bread.
