Description

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dried cherries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and sea salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time and add the vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and dried cherries by hand.
  7. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space in between.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are slightly soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
