- ¾ cup brown sugar

- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup dried cherries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and sea salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time and add the vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Combine the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and dried cherries by hand.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space in between.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are slightly soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
