  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (chives, rosemary, or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, protein powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cut the cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine milk and eggs. Slowly add this mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the sautéed mushrooms and herbs.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and pat into a rectangle about half an inch thick. Cut out biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
