- 1 cup toffee bits
Instructions
- Brown the butter in a skillet over medium heat until golden and nutty.
- Mix together the brown butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, along with vanilla extract.
- Combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, espresso powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Fold in the toffee bits carefully to avoid over-mixing.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
