Description

Delicious pasta shells filled with creamy burrata cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and fresh herbs—perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Large pasta shells
  • Fresh burrata cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup tomato sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Then, add sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Fill each pasta shell with a generous spoonful of burrata cheese.
  4. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of tomato sauce (if using), then arrange filled shells on top. Top with sautéed mushrooms and any remaining burrata.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for about 20 minutes or until heated through and golden on top.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian twist, substitute mushrooms with spinach or zucchini. Use gluten-free pasta shells if needed.
