- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter and powdered sugar until fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract and mix.
- Whisk together the flour and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed butter and sugar, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Roll the dough into small balls about one inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until the bottoms are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before rolling in powdered sugar.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack.
