Ingredients

  • 4 skin-on salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub Cajun seasoning all over the salmon fillets and let them sit for 15-30 minutes.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and stir in honey and lemon juice until combined.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of oil.
  5. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes without moving them.
  6. Carefully flip the fillets and pour the honey butter mixture over them, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Remove from skillet and garnish with fresh herbs. Serve warm.
