Description
A delightful balance of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors with tender salmon, rich honey, and Cajun spices.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Salmon Fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 2 tablespoons Cajun Spice Blend
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs (Parsley or Chives)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- Oil for searing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the salmon dry and season both sides with the Cajun spice blend.
- In a small saucepot, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat and stir in the honey.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil, and sear the salmon fillets skin-side down for about 4-5 minutes.
- Pour the honey-butter mixture over the salmon and transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle with fresh lemon juice, and sprinkle with herbs. Serve immediately with a side dish.
Notes
To ensure perfect cooking, avoid overcrowding the skillet when searing salmon.
