- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (shiitake recommended)
- Fresh basil, to taste
- Fresh thyme, to taste
- 1 cup crushed candy canes
- 1 cup arugula or spinach
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to about a quarter-inch thickness.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet and brush it with olive oil.
- Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the base.
- Add shredded mozzarella and sautéed mushrooms on top.
- Sprinkle fresh basil and thyme over the cheese and mushrooms.
- Crush candy canes and sprinkle evenly over the pizza.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Toss arugula on top after baking.
- Slice and serve immediately.
