  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Optional: sea salt or vanilla ice cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and slicing them. Toss with lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar.
  3. Make the caramel sauce if not using store-bought.
  4. Create the crumble by mixing flour, oats, brown sugar, and spices. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  5. Assembly: In a greased muffin tin, layer apples, drizzle caramel, and top with crumble.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until topping is golden and apples are bubbly.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.
