- 1 cup sugar (can use brown sugar)
- 3 apples (Granny Smith recommended)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar; press into the bottom of a springform pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden, then cool.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth, gradually add sugar and heavy cream, then add eggs one at a time. Fold in cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Peel and slice apples, sauté in a skillet with butter, sugar, and cinnamon until caramelized; cool.
- Pour half of the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust, add sautéed apples, and top with remaining filling.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until edges are set; let it cool in the oven for an hour.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, then serve with caramel sauce.
