Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can green chilies or jalapeños, drained
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Hot sauce, to taste
  • Tortilla chips, bread, or veggies for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking into smaller pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Lower the heat and add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add cream cheese, stirring until melted and combined with the beef for a velvety mixture.
  4. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted.
  5. Add green chilies or jalapeños, salt, pepper, and hot sauce to taste.
  6. Transfer to a warm serving dish or keep on low heat while serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions and enjoy with your favorite dippers.
