- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can green chilies or jalapeños, drained
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Hot sauce, to taste
- Tortilla chips, bread, or veggies for dipping
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking into smaller pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
- Lower the heat and add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add cream cheese, stirring until melted and combined with the beef for a velvety mixture.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted.
- Add green chilies or jalapeños, salt, pepper, and hot sauce to taste.
- Transfer to a warm serving dish or keep on low heat while serving.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions and enjoy with your favorite dippers.
