A rich and creamy Chicken Alfredo Bake loaded with cheesy goodness, perfect for family gatherings and cozy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (breast or thighs)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 dash of nutmeg (optional)
  • Sautéed mushrooms (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare chicken by sautéing minced garlic in butter until fragrant, then add diced chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper and cooking until golden brown.
  4. Make the Alfredo sauce by whisking in heavy cream to melted butter, and gradually stir in the cheese until creamy.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta, sautéed chicken, and Alfredo sauce in a large bowl until coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and top generously with more cheese.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, use seitan or tofu. Whole grain pasta can elevate fiber content. Pair with a fresh salad or garlic bread.
