Description

A warm and comforting dish of oversized pasta shells stuffed with creamy chicken Alfredo filling, topped with melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • Extra-large pasta shells
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add the cooked chicken and combine.
  4. Mix in softened cream cheese and half of the Alfredo sauce until smooth.
  5. Fill each pasta shell with the chicken mixture and arrange them in a greased baking dish.
  6. Drizzle remaining Alfredo sauce over the shells and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with sautéed mushrooms or add spinach for extra nutrients.
