- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Fresh herbs (parsley or basil), for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo shells according to the package instructions, leaving them al dente.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add sliced mushrooms and cook until golden.
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, sautéed mushrooms, half of the Alfredo sauce, and half a cup of mozzarella cheese.
- Stuff the shells generously with the mixture and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbling.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, replace chicken with spinach or artichokes.
