Description

A comforting and delicious casserole filled with chicken, crispy bacon, ranch dressing, and topped with tater tots.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 32 oz tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then drain excess grease.
  3. Add diced chicken to the skillet and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté until fully cooked.
  4. In a large bowl, mix cooked chicken, bacon, ranch dressing, and half of the cheese.
  5. Gently fold in the tater tots until coated.
  6. Spread the mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the casserole is bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown.
  8. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
