- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, rosemary) for seasoning
- Ketchup or barbecue sauce for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, sautéed onions, garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, and herbs until just combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan or shape on a lined baking sheet.
- Spread ketchup or barbecue sauce on top if desired.
- Bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with your favorite sides.
