- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 4 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
- Add the chicken thighs skin-side down and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and cover to keep warm.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan, and let it reduce slightly.
- Add the heavy cream and stir in the fresh herbs, letting the sauce simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over each thigh. Simmer for a few minutes before serving.
