Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken thighs smothered in a rich and savory creamy garlic sauce, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 4 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
  3. Add the chicken thighs skin-side down and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan, and let it reduce slightly.
  7. Add the heavy cream and stir in the fresh herbs, letting the sauce simmer until slightly thickened.
  8. Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over each thigh. Simmer for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
