A flavorful and vibrant dish combining perfectly seared flank steak with zesty chimichurri sauce, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.
Ingredients

- 1 flank steak
- 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine parsley, garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Season flank steak with salt and pepper. Optionally, marinate in chimichurri for a couple of hours.
- Grill the steak for 5–7 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Let the steak rest for 10 minutes, then cut against the grain into thin slices.
- Arrange slices on a platter and spoon chimichurri over the top. Serve with sides of your choice.
Notes
Let the chimichurri sit for at least 30 minutes for the best flavor. Always let the steak rest before slicing.
