- 1 package frozen puff pastry (thawed)
- 8 oz dark chocolate (chopped)
- 2 ripe bananas (sliced)
- 1 cup fresh whipped cream
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into rectangles.
- Bake the pastry rectangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Melt chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water or in the microwave.
- Slice the bananas into thin rounds and toss lightly in lemon juice.
- Whip the cream with powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Assemble the Napoleons by stacking a pastry layer, melted chocolate, banana slices, and whipped cream, repeating until three layers high.
- Top with another pastry layer, drizzle with melted chocolate, and dust with powdered sugar.
- Chill for 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
