- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop and let it cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it into an even layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly golden and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let the blondies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then lift out using the parchment and cool completely on a wire rack before slicing into squares.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding nuts, coconut flakes, or a sprinkle of sea salt on top. Serve warm with ice cream for an indulgent treat.
