Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
  5. Gently fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it into an even layer.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly golden and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  9. Let the blondies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then lift out using the parchment and cool completely on a wire rack before slicing into squares.
