Description

A delightful no-bake dessert that combines layers of rich chocolate pudding, cream cheese, and whipped topping, finished with a crunchy cookie crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 package chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Crush sandwich cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter, then press into a 9×13 inch dish to form the crust.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate pudding mix with cold milk and whisk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and mix. Fold in half of the whipped topping.
  4. Layer the cream cheese mixture over the crust, followed by the chocolate pudding layer.
  5. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the chocolate layer and top with extra cookie crumbs or chocolate shavings.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
  7. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese. This dessert can also be customized with different pudding flavors.
