Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg (or egg substitute)
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Add in the egg (or chosen substitute) and blend until incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then gradually mix into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
- Fold in chocolate chips and diced strawberries gently.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each scoop.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
