Description

Deliciously crunchy shortbread bars enriched with chocolate, toffee, and pecans, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet or Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Toffee Bits
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Gradually mix in the flour until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.
  4. Fold in the chopped pecans, toffee bits, and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan, spreading and flattening it evenly. Sprinkle a little sea salt on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the edges turn golden brown. Allow to cool completely before removing from the pan.
  7. Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Chill dough for 30 minutes before baking for extra crunch. Store leftovers in an airtight container or freeze for later enjoyment.
