Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until fully melted (about 4-5 minutes).
  4. Pour the toffee mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee.
  7. Wait a few minutes for the chips to soften, then spread the melted chocolate evenly.
  8. Add your desired toppings, pressing them into the chocolate.
