Ingredients

- 1 lb ground meat (beef, pork, or turkey)
- 1/2 cup fresh cranberries or canned cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, onions, garlic, thyme, salt, and egg.
- Fold in cranberries or cranberry sauce gently.
- Form equal-sized meatballs (about the size of a golf ball) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle Worcestershire sauce over each meatball.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Baste with extra cranberry sauce during the last few minutes of baking.
Notes
For a vegan version, substitute ground meat with plant-based meat and eggs with flaxseed meal.
