Description

Delightful bite-sized cheese balls combining cream cheese, dried cranberries, and walnuts, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Start by allowing the cream cheese to soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, dried cranberries, chopped walnuts, minced garlic, and herbs of your choice. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Coat each cheese ball in crushed walnuts, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve on a festive platter with crackers and fresh fruit.

Notes

Feel free to substitute Greek yogurt for cream cheese for a lighter version. You can also use pecans or almonds instead of walnuts.
