Description
Delightful Christmas Tree Cake Pops, perfect for holiday gatherings and a fun family activity.
Ingredients
- Cake (vanilla, chocolate, or a seasonal flavor like spice cake)
- Frosting (store-bought or homemade, cream cheese or buttercream)
- Chocolate coating (melting chocolate or candy melts, preferably in festive colors)
- Colorful sprinkles, edible glitter, or crushed candy canes for decoration
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions
- Bake the cake according to package instructions or your favorite recipe. Allow to cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl, mixing in frosting until moist enough to hold together.
- Roll the mixture into cone shapes to resemble Christmas trees and refrigerate for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the chocolate according to package instructions in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Insert a lollipop stick into each tree, then dip into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle with festive decorations or add drizzles of contrasting chocolate.
- Return pops to the refrigerator to let the chocolate set before enjoying or gifting.
Notes
Aim for uniform shapes during the cake rolling process for even coating. Use a little coconut oil with the melts for a smoother consistency.
