- Red candy ornaments, edible glitter, or fondant for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with festive liners.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, cream the butter until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract, then beat well.
- Combine both mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
- Scoop the batter into each cupcake liner about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool the cupcakes for 10 minutes in the tin before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Frost and decorate: Prepare your buttercream frosting, add green food coloring, pipe the icing, and add decorations as desired.
