- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup crushed Oreos
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a mixing bowl and let sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture and mix until combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Mix softened butter, cinnamon, and crushed Oreos in a separate bowl to create the filling.
- Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle and spread the Oreo filling evenly over it.
- Roll the dough tightly from one edge to form a log, then slice into 1-2 inch pieces.
- Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish, allowing space between them. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth for the icing.
- Drizzle the icing over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm, but they can be refrigerated or frozen for later enjoyment.
