Description

A delightful fusion of warm cinnamon rolls and crunchy Oreos, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreos
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a mixing bowl and let sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture and mix until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  4. Mix softened butter, cinnamon, and crushed Oreos in a separate bowl to create the filling.
  5. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle and spread the Oreo filling evenly over it.
  6. Roll the dough tightly from one edge to form a log, then slice into 1-2 inch pieces.
  7. Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish, allowing space between them. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth for the icing.
  10. Drizzle the icing over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm, but they can be refrigerated or frozen for later enjoyment.
