Instructions
- Prepare the Dumpling Dough: In a large bowl, combine the farmer’s cheese, flour, eggs, melted butter, and herbs. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Shape the Dumplings: On a flour-dusted surface, roll small amounts of dough into balls or ovals.
- Cook the Dumplings: Bring a large pot of salted water to a gentle boil and drop in the dumplings. Cook until they float, about 3-5 minutes.
- Prepare the Sweet Compote: In a saucepan, simmer fruits with sugar and a splash of water until syrupy. Add cinnamon or vanilla if desired.
- Serve with Love: Drain dumplings and serve warm topped with sweet compote and optional honey or herbs.
