  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl; let sit until bubbly (5-10 mins).
  2. Add eggs, melted butter, and salt to yeast mixture; stir in flour to form dough.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface until smooth (8-10 mins); place in a greased bowl and let rise (1-2 hours).
  4. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and chocolate chips in a bowl.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (1/4 inch thick); spread softened butter and sprinkle with the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12-15 pieces; place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Let rolls rise again (30 mins) until puffy.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla; add milk for desired consistency.
  10. Frost warm rolls and serve.
