Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • ½ cup chopped almonds
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the butter mixture.
  5. Fold in the cranberries and almonds gently.
  6. Shape tablespoonfuls of dough into balls and place on the baking sheet.
  7. Flatten each ball with the bottom of a glass.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
