- 1 cup Butter, softened
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Dried Cranberries
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 tbsp Orange Zest
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Slowly mix in flour, then fold in dried cranberries and press into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
- While cooling, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and orange zest until smooth.
- Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled crust.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour, then slice and serve.
Notes
Use room-temperature butter and cream cheese for best results. Do not skip the chilling step after frosting.
