Description
A delightful dip that combines the tartness of cranberries with the heat of jalapenos, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1–2 jalapeno peppers, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs (cilantro or parsley)

Instructions
- Prepare the cranberries: Cook fresh cranberries in a pot with a little water over medium heat until they burst (about 10 minutes). Allow to cool.
- Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes or microwave briefly.
- In a bowl, combine cooled cranberries, diced jalapenos, minced garlic, chopped green onions, lemon juice, and herbs with the cream cheese until well mixed.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Chill the dip for at least an hour before serving for the best flavor.
- Serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetable sticks.
Notes
Mince jalapenos finely for even spice distribution. Let the dip chill for optimal flavor.
