Description

A delightful dip that combines the tartness of cranberries with the heat of jalapenos, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 12 jalapeno peppers, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (cilantro or parsley)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cranberries: Cook fresh cranberries in a pot with a little water over medium heat until they burst (about 10 minutes). Allow to cool.
  2. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes or microwave briefly.
  3. In a bowl, combine cooled cranberries, diced jalapenos, minced garlic, chopped green onions, lemon juice, and herbs with the cream cheese until well mixed.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Chill the dip for at least an hour before serving for the best flavor.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetable sticks.

Notes

Mince jalapenos finely for even spice distribution. Let the dip chill for optimal flavor.
