Description

Deliciously flaky tarts filled with a sweet and spicy cranberry-jalapeño dip, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag fresh or dried cranberries
  • 2 fresh jalapeños, diced
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (cilantro or parsley)
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thickness and cut circles of about 3 inches in diameter.
  3. Line a muffin tin with puff pastry circles.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the jalapeños for 3–4 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, sautéed jalapeños, cranberries, and chopped herbs until creamy.
  6. Spoon the mixture into the pastry-lined cups, filling them about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

These tarts can be made ahead and chilled before baking.
