Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, or rosemary)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup homemade cranberry sauce
  • Slider buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, and herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into uniform meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, heat the homemade cranberry sauce in a small saucepan until bubbling softly.
  6. Cut slider buns in half, placing a meatball on each bottom half and topping with cranberry sauce. Cover with bun tops.
  7. Serve immediately, presenting sliders with toothpicks for easy serving.
