- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs, at room temperature
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or use parchment paper.
- Beat the cream cheese and butter in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 3–5 minutes.
- Gradually add the sugar and mix until fully incorporated.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually blend into the wet mixture.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 70-80 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
