- 8 ounces fettuccine or linguine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
- Sauté the salmon in a skillet with melted butter, seasoning it with salt and pepper, and cooking for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and flake.
- Prepare the sauce by sautéing garlic in the same skillet, then adding heavy cream, lemon juice, zest, and dill; simmer until slightly thickened.
- Combine the drained pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency, then fold in the flaked salmon.
- Finish with grated Parmesan, additional seasoning, and serve immediately, garnished with dill and lemon wedges.
